Jesus Did Not Need Twitter To Get Followers

I enjoy using Twitter to communicate and to keep up with what other people are doing and thinking. One of the fun parts of my day is to log onto Twitter and find that I have new followers. This excites me because I love to share little thoughts, scriptures, and links to the devotions on this blog. I look at it as a ministry that God has given me – one in which I can encourage others to get to know Jesus and to grow in their relationship with Him.

One Word for God?

by David Roberts A while ago, I was involved in a course entitled “The Attributes of God.” We covered many of them without, I’m sure, even coming close to exhausting the subject. It occurred to me as we were studying week after week that most of these attributes were actually names of God or could easily be turned into names for Him. We examined His love, His mercy, His creativity, His faithfulness, His presence, His wisdom, His goodness, and even His judgment.

Don’t Be A Real April Fool

by Karen Roberts Since I work with kids, I got to enjoy their excitement about today being April Fools Day. Some of them didn’t quite “get it” and would make a silly statement like, “There’s a dragon on your head,” and right away say “April Fool!” However most of them played some of the standard tricks like, “Hey, your shoe’s untied.” And then when the person looked down, called out, “April Fool!”
